Free Environmental Resources for Farmers

Have you visited the Ohio Livestock Coalition's new Ohio Livestock Environmental Assurance Program (LEAP) website?

LEAP is a voluntary program to help Ohio's livestock farms take a hands-on approach in protecting the land, air and water on and around farms and is now available online. On the website, farmers can access:

• Best farm management practices for issues, including water quality management, manure and nutrient management and storage, odor management and air quality, pest control, facility management, and more.
• Current state and federal regulations for Ohio livestock farms.
• Environmental assessment and evaluation tools and other related resources.
